Prepare the pork: Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat and saute sliced onions for 5-8 minutes until translucent. Then, add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute
Season and cook: Rub the Park shoulder with the spices and salt. Place the seasoned pork over the cooked onions in the saucepan. Next, pour in the BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard and beef broth. Give it a quick stir to combine. Cover with a lid and reduce heat to low.
Cook the meat for 1 hour, then turn it over and continue cooking for an additional 30-45 minutes. Test the pork's tenderness by pulling it apart with a fork. If it shreds easily, it's ready. Shred the pork apart in the pan, letting it infuse with the cooking sauce. Continue cooking for 10-15 minutes more.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Next, place slider buns on a baking tray. Fill them with the pulled pork and top with mozzarella cheese.
Optional: Brush the bun tops with a touch of melted butter and oregano for extra flavor and shine.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts. Cover the tray with foil to prevent the buns from browning too much.
Serve warm.

Useful tips
Store any leftover pulled pork in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Ensure it cools down to room temperature before refrigerating. To maintain freshness, consider storing the pork separately from the slider buns and cheese, as they might become soggy when combined.
For reheating, you can use a microwave, stovetop, or oven.
Microwave: Place a portion of the pulled pork in a microwave-safe dish, cover it with a damp paper towel to preserve moisture, and heat in short intervals, stirring in between until it's heated through.Stovetop: Reheat the pork in a saucepan over medium heat, adding a bit of broth or water to prevent drying out. Stir occasionally until it's thoroughly heated.Oven: Place the pulled pork in an oven-safe dish, cover it with foil, and reheat in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) until it's warm.
