Nothing says let’s hang out by the grill as well as smoked BBQ Beer Can Chicken. Let’s be honest, that squatty little chicken is fun, awesome, and crazy delicious!
Whole Chickens | Paprika Chipotle Powder | Onion Powder Garlic Powder | Thyme Barbecue Sauce | Olive Oil Salt & Pepper
Mix all dry ingredients for the spice mix. Remove the neck and giblets from the chickens and pat them dry with a paper towel. Brush chicken with oil, then sprinkle with spice mix.
Insert beer can into the rack and the rack into the chicken. The can should have extra holes punched in the top and only be half full of beer. Cook until the chicken reaches 160 degrees in the breast area and 175 degrees in the thigh area.
About 20-30 minutes before you expect the chicken to be done, brush it with barbecue sauce. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
