This Immune-Boosting Smoothie is delicious, easy, and my go-to breakfast when everyone in my house is sick. Not that my 3 kids ever get sick all at the same time. And then share their germs with me.
For most of the fall and winter months, we have stayed pretty healthy around here. But in the last two weeks, all 3 of my girls have gotten sick. It is so nice of them to share like that. Especially now that they have shared with me. I suppose that is a mother’s lot in life though – to nurse their children through all of their illnesses while the germs spread. But I would gladly take it for any of them to see them all healthy again. Right now we are all a coughing, cranky mess.
This Immune-Boosting Smoothie holds all my hope for getting well sooner. I have not idea if it will work or not – but even if it is just a placebo effect, I will take it. Thankfully it also is a snap to make if you have a blender.
Pop all of your fruit and veggies in and let the blender do the work.
If you like smoothies for breakfast and snacks, I also really like this Chocolate Nut Butter Smoothie and this Berry Banana Smoothie. Both hide a pile of spinach that you can’t taste. And this Healthy Green Pina Colada Smoothie packs in the vitamins and green leafy things too!
