My family loves fresh corn on the cob in the summer. It was only within the last few years that we learned about Freezing Corn on the Cob the easy way. Now we have corn that tastes like it was just picked well into the winter months.
Just keep the husks in place and put the number of cobs you need for a single meal in a freezer bag. When you are ready to use them, take them out of the freezer and shuck them while frozen. If needed, just run a little warm water over the husks to loosen it.
Then you are ready to roast them in the oven. Here is a recipe for roasting corn on the cob straight from your freezer!
