Color Your Own 4th of July Bunting
For the last few years, we have vacationed for the week of Fouth of July. We live in Savannah, Georgia, which is close to the coast. We love to visit the Golden Isles right off the coast and stay for beach town fireworks, golf cart parades, too much ice cream and lots of time near the ocean.
It is a time we really look forward to every year! We started renting a house a few years back because our family is just too big to be comfortable in a hotel for a week. So each year, we load up a tub of art supplies when we travel to keep the kids busy and entertained on the rare occasions that the adults want to steal some downtime.
What began as a project to keep kids occupied has since become a 4th of July tradition. Now we ask the kids to decorate the rental house for the Fourth of July. It is a lot of fun for them and the decorations liven up our rental house!
